  1. Your first job will not be a glamorous one, but it will teach you lessons.
  2. One of those lessons will be how to interact with people much older then you.
  3.  Not everyone older then you is wiser.
  4. Wisdom comes with experience, not just age.
  5. Be respectful to everyone you meet.
  6. You do not have to like everyone.
  7. Experience as much as you can NOW while you still have the energy.
  8. Life is hard, but do not let it make you bitter.
  9. Talking bad about someone, doesn’t make you better.
  10. Try to build people up, not put them down.
  11. Karma exists.
  12. Stay in touch with family, they will always be there for you.
  13. Try to get outside as much as possible. Fresh air is the best anti-depressant.
  14. Don’t hold grudges. They age you.
  15. Take care of your body now. You’ll thank yourself later.
  16. Vegetables are delicious.
  17. But so is pizza…do not deprive yourself from the occasional treat.
  18. Red wine after a long day at work goes a long way for your sanity.
  19. If you are unhappy with a situation, change something.
  20. Get outside your comfort zone, that’s where things happen.
  21. Love with your whole heart. It may get broken, but that is part of life experience.
  22. Find someone you can vent to, don’t bottle up your emotions.
  23. Pick and choose your battles.
  24. No one wants to be around a moody person.
  25. Appreciate the little things that are done by the people around you.
  26. A little praise goes a long way.
  27. Being rude does not get you anywhere.
  28. Don’t take yourself too seriously.

  30. Staying in touch is difficult, but try not to burn any bridges.
  31. Unless of course bridges need to be burns. Do not keep bad company.
  32. The company you keep is a reflection of yourself.

  34. It’s okay to be sad. That’s what makes us human.
  35. Travel as often as you can. Even if it is to somewhere 2 hours from home.
  36. Don’t fall asleep at the bar.
  37. Don’t throw your $12 drink on someone…they probably aren’t worth it.
  38. Drugs, food, and alcohol are the three most over used anti-depressants.
  39. Exercise is the most underused anti-depressant, try it.
  40. Before you diagnose yourself with depression, make sure you aren’t just surrounded by assholes.
  41. Make plans.
  42. Have sex. (safe sex)
  43. Celebrate everything and anything.
  44. Budget your money.
  45. Start saving for retirement. You will thank yourself later.
  46. Pay attention to what goes on in the world.
  47. Educate yourself.
  48. Give as much as you can.
  49. People lie to make themselves look better.
  50. Celebrate your own success, but makes you look like a douchebag.
  51. Get enough sleep, but don’t waste your life in bed.
  52. Celebrate your loved ones success.
  53. Smoking cigarettes is a disgusting habit.
  54. Don’t punish yourself if you make a mistake.
  55. Learn from mistakes you have made.
  56. Know that the definition of insanity is “doing the same thing repetitively and expecting different results.
  57. You’re worth it.
  58. FLOSS. Your teeth will not be around for long if you don’t.
  59. Seek help, not all problems are meant to be solved on your own.
  60. Take vitamins!
  61. You DO NOT need botox.
  62. Going out in PJ’s is not appropriate after college.
  63. Don’t take your anger out on the ones you love. They will get sick of it.
  64. Special surprises are always welcome.
  65. Music sooths the soul.
  66. Puppies and kittens can be therapeutic.
  67. Don’t like your own Facebook post.
  68. Not all pictures are meant to be shared.
  69. It is okay to have secrets.
  70. Appreciate your alone time.
  71. Say sorry if you are wrong.
  72. Being stubborn gets you no where.
  73. You are allowed to have an opinion.
  74. Some fads are ridiculous, learn to recognize them.
  75. Racist and sexist comments makes you look uneducated.
  76.  Be confident, not cocky.
  77. Spend your money on experiences rather than things.
  78. Don’t shy away from being spontaneous. 
  79. Life is not short…it is the longest thing you’ll ever do.
  80. You are a success if you are happy with yourself. Don’t compare your lives to anyone else.
